Sisterly Inspiration

An inspiration to me in many ways, my little sister is the one who inspired me to even think about starting a blog. After some consideration, I decided I would give it a try. Welcome! Many ideas popped into my mind about what I should blog about. What I decided to title this blog is the "Search for Hope."

I believe we all have an insatiable thirst and hunger for Hope. We may hope for different things but these varying hopes are what I believe gives our life meaning. What do you Hope for? What gives your life meaning and purpose?

During the past few years I feel that I would lose Hope when propelled onto different routes. Sometimes I feel that I am teetering on the line of forgetting who I am, what I stand for, what I think is important, and where I want to be. Thus, I not only want to continually find Hope. I want to have a conviction of Hope. I believe I can achieve that through the power of self-reflection, the love and wisdom of my incredible family and our Lord, and the strength of meaningful friendships. I believe this blog will be a vehicle for my quest for Hope and maybe it will help you find yours or solidify even further what your Hopes and Dreams are.

Many times I find that my direction of thoughts and motivations are best summarized from proverbs, Bible scriptures, and quotes. Therefore, many of my posts will have one of those aspects. The following quote depicts what I hope this blog will be about: "Consult not your fears but your hopes and dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. I hope this blog will help you and I to search for and solidify our hopes, learn about our untapped potential by expanding our mind and wisdom, and look to our future and what we hope to accomplish.
